Paul Lockman, Ph.D., WVCTSI clinician scientist, associate director for translational research at the West Virginia University Cancer Institute, and Douglas Glover Endowed Chair for Pharmaceutical Sciences, has been named a 2016 Benedum Distinguished Scholar. These awards are funded by the Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation to highlight excellence in research and scholarly activity. As a distinguished scholar, Lockman will receive $5,000 from the Benedum Foundation to support professional development.
