An Introduction to Time Series Analysis of Clinical and Public Health Data

WVCTSI will host a special workshop titled, "An Introduction to Time Series Analysis of Clinical and Public Health Data." Eric W. Lundstrom, graduate research assistant, with the WVU School of Public Health Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, will be leading this workshop that focuses on the application of time series modeling to clinical, biomedical, and public health data. Attendees will acquire the skills necessary to determine when time series analysis is appropriate given a specific research problem, as well as the ability to report descriptive and inferential statistics on time series data. Topics addressed will include time series data management and visualization, model building, and how to assess the temporal impact of public health events using interrupted time series analysis.

This event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 with lunch provided for those attending in person. Attendees have the option to attend in person at the WVU Health Sciences Campus or remotely via Zoom. During the workshop, attendees will have the ability to log into classroom computers or you are welcome to bring your own computer. Continuing Education (CE) Credits will be offered. Any questions can be directed to Debbie Lee at debbie.lee@hsc.wvu.edu. Register here.
