Module 1: The What and Why of Community Partnerships

In this module, participants will receive background information on community partnerships and basic information on types of research. Information includes key factors in establishing strong partnerships, the community engagement continuum, types of research, community-based research, and the benefits and challenges of partnerships.

 

Module 2: How do Communities Become Research Partners?

In this module, participants will dive into the facets of becoming a research partner. Participants will review the art of asking questions that illustrate the nuts and bolts of the research plan, including details on process, outcomes, and dissemination of results.

 

Module 3: What Resources and Tools are Available to Help Become a Research Partner?

In the final module, participants will receive resources and tools that help community members become confident research partners.
