Design Studio
Design Studio is a collaborative meeting where early-stage investigators and clinician-researchers can gain feedback on their project ideas from a group of experts in research design. A tutorial has also been added at the beginning of each meeting to review critical research topics and principles. Past tutorials have focused on the IRB process, how to formulate a research question, how to calculate sample size/power, and tips for conducting a literature search.
Many clinicians or community-based investigators may not have extensive experience in research design or statistics. Design Studio enables these researchers to gain more knowledge and guidance for their projects, both current and future. Our panel of experts are able to translate their feedback and input to those who may not be familiar with research concepts.
